FATE Foundation, in collaboration with the Cherie Blair Foundation for Women, is delighted to introduce the Road to Growth Programme 2023. This initiative is tailored for women entrepreneurs who lead businesses in Oyo and Ogun States, offering them an opportunity to bolster their business acumen, enhance financial literacy, expand networks, and build unwavering confidence in their entrepreneurial journey. This program, generously funded by the Cherie Blair Foundation for Women and other esteemed partners, aims to support 100 women entrepreneurs as they break barriers and triumph in their business endeavors.

Eligibility Criteria

To partake in the Road to Growth Programme, women entrepreneurs should meet the following eligibility requirements:

  • Ownership of a minimum of 50% of a business in Nigeria.
  • A business that has generated profits for at least 2 years.
  • Employing a workforce of 3-49 employees.
  • Possessing basic computer literacy skills.
  • Proficiency in reading and writing in English.
  • A strong desire and commitment to scaling their business(es).
  • No prior access to loans with an existing need for additional investment.

Course Structure

The Road to Growth program is a 7-week hybrid initiative, demanding approximately 8-10 hours per week. The program integrates various learning methods, including the Learning Management System (LMS), Virtual Class sessions, WhatsApp Group discussions, and In-person sessions, all facilitated through innovative classroom management tools. The modular structure of the lectures offers participants the flexibility to manage their businesses while actively participating in the program. The core curriculum of the program comprises seven pivotal modules:
