Through cutting-edge learning and knowledge-sharing services, They focus on entrepreneurship, leadership, finance and trade, digital technologies, nuclear disarmament, and non-proliferation. Their mission is to equip individuals, especially women and young people from least-developed countries, conflict-affected regions, and small island developing states, with the tools to drive innovation and positive transformation.

The Three Phases of Transformation

Phase I: Online Learning (September to December 2023):

  • Engage with self-paced e-modules on a digital learning platform.
  • Participate in webinars for insightful knowledge sharing.
  • Receive valuable online coaching and mentoring support.

Phase II: Self-led Projects and Virtual Boot Camp (December 2023 to January 2024):

  • Stand out based on your performance in Phase I.
  • Dive into self-led projects and dynamic virtual boot camps.
  • Apply your newfound skills to tackle real-world development challenges.

Phase III: Sustainability and Community Leadership Training (February 2024):

  • Elevate your skills in community-building and leadership.
  • Join a powerful network of trainers for future cohorts.

Eligibility

Are you ready to embrace change and innovation? You're eligible if you:

  • Reside in one of the 24 African countries prioritized by the program. Country includes Botswana, Burundi, Eritrea, Eswatini, Ethiopia, Gambia, Ghana, Kenya, Lesotho, Liberia, Malawi, Namibia, Nigeria, Rwanda, Seychelles, Sierra Leone, Somalia, South Africa, South Sudan, Sudan, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, and Zimbabwe.
  • Are passionate about development and technology.
  • Fall within the age range of 18 to 35 (women of all ages are encouraged).
  • Possess strong English communication skills.
  • Have access to a laptop and the internet.
  • Are eager to harness the potential of digital technology.
  • Are committed to driving positive change in your community.

Program Modules

The program's modules encompass a range of essential topics, including:

  • Digital infrastructure and connectivity
  • Digital innovation and transformation
  • Frontier technologies include AI, big data, and blockchain.
  • Cybersecurity and data protection
  • Project management and entrepreneurship
  • Leadership and locally-led ecosystem building
