Your Lens, Your Story: Engage and Elevate

Eligibility: Embark on this creative journey if you meet the following criteria:

  • Age: You are 18 years of age or older.
  • Ownership: You possess the rights to the photos you submit.

Application Guidelines:

Do’s:

  • Select your thematic area(s) to align with the competition's theme.
  • Employ a high-resolution camera producing at least 3000 pixels on the longest side, at 300 DPI/PPI. Mobile phone submissions are welcome, provided they meet quality standards.
  • Obtain consent if your photo features individuals, particularly a single person.
  • Make simple edits if necessary and specify changes in the submission form.

Don’ts:

  • Refrain from submitting photo collages.
  • Avoid adding watermarks, signatures, or overlays to your pictures.
  • Submit only photos aligned with the competition's themes.

How to Participate

  1. Name and Describe: Give each photo a captivating title and a concise description (75 words max) contextualizing the image's story.
  2. Format: Ensure your photo is in jpeg format, with a length of at least 3,000 pixels on the longer side. Raw/Tiff files are encouraged.
  3. Submission Form: Download and complete the submission form. Agree to the listed Terms and Conditions.
  4. Email Entry: Send the completed form and original photo files to unevoc.skills(at)unesco.org. The subject line should follow this format: Lastname_Firstname_SAPC23.
  5. Large Files: If your entries exceed email attachment limits, use cloud storage like WeTransfer and provide a direct download link.
