In a groundbreaking partnership with the MTN Foundation, Meta, Microsoft, and Capitis Global Ventures Ltd, Enugu SME proudly presents the Enugu/MTN ICT And Business Skills Training. This initiative is poised to equip young entrepreneurs in Enugu, aged between 18 and 35, with essential tech-enabled skills to bolster the competitiveness and relevance of their small businesses. This comprehensive training program spans five weeks and includes expert-led Masterclasses.

Eligibility Criteria:

To qualify for the Enugu/MTN ICT And Business Skills Training, aspiring entrepreneurs must meet the following criteria:

  • Age: Applicants must be Nigerian males or females between 18 and 35 years old.

  • Business: Participants should own and manage a small business that has been operational for no more than two years.

  • Location: Small businesses must be located in Enugu State.

Training Modules:

  1. Microsoft: Microsoft will provide training on "Entrepreneurship in the Digital Age" and "ICT for Business Success," along with their new Generative AI skills. This training will span two weeks and will utilize a blended learning approach, including self-paced learning through provided content and instructor-led sessions conducted daily, each lasting between 30 minutes to 2 hours.

  2. Meta: Meta will focus on "Skills to Build Brands and Grow Businesses Online" through their Meta Boost Small Business Studios.

About MTN Foundation:

The MTN Foundation scholarship scheme is designed to attract high-performing full-time students studying in public tertiary institutions in Nigeria, including universities, polytechnics, and colleges of education. The scholarship aims to provide financial assistance to students who may face difficulties covering their tertiary education expenses and recognizes and rewards academic excellence.
