The Ashinaga Africa Initiative 2024 Cohort is a dynamic program that selects students from each sub-Saharan African country to participate in an intensive Study Camp, fostering academic excellence, career planning, and leadership development. This six-month journey, from July to December 2023, offers an immersive experience for Anglophone students in Uganda and Francophone students in Senegal. Through the Study Camp, participants receive comprehensive support for university applications, academic preparation, and leadership growth.

A Journey Beyond Borders:

Beyond the Study Camp, participants embark on a transformative path during the Preparation Camp, scheduled between April and June 2024. The Ashinaga Africa Initiative culminates in students' enrollment in universities across Japan, the U.K., the U.S.A., or Europe in August or September 2024. Notably, all expenses incurred during both camps are generously covered by Ashinaga.
