"Apply Now: African Union and ImpactHer Fully-Funded Digital, Financial, and Entrepreneurship Training"

The African Union and ImpactHer are offering a one-month online training program. The program focuses on digital, financial, and entrepreneurship skills. It is fully funded and open to individuals interested in learning. The training empowers African participants in STEAM, digital literacy, financial literacy, and entrepreneurship. Teachers' abilities to teach these subjects effectively will also be enhanced. The program is titled "Digital Skills for All: Bridging the Gender Gap in STEAM, Financial Literacy, and Entrepreneurship."

Benefits of the Training:

  • Participants can choose to focus on one or two courses: digital literacy, entrepreneurship, or financial literacy.
  • The one-month intensive training includes:
    • 2 weeks for digital literacy
    • 1 week for entrepreneurship
    • 1 week for financial literacy
  • It is recommended to apply for all three courses for a comprehensive learning experience.
  • Successful completion (at least 60% attendance) leads to a certificate in Digital Skills, Entrepreneurial Skills, or Financial Literacy.
  • Participants become part of the networks of the African Union CIEFFA and ImpactHER, increasing their chances of joining fully-funded in-person activities by the African Union CIEFFA.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Applicants must be of African descent (male or female).
  • Demonstrated motivation to learn the specified skills.
  • Showcasing leadership abilities.
  • Commitment to promoting girls' and women's education.
  • Access to a stable internet connection and a device (laptop, computer, smartphone, or tablet).
  • Clear understanding of one of the training's languages: English, French, or Portuguese.
  • Hold African citizenship, regardless of current location.

Program Details:

  • The pilot phase concluded in June 2023, and the next phase runs from August to December.
  • Successful participants will be grouped into batches, each participating for one month.
  • Interested individuals can apply or invite others to register using the provided application link before the August 2023 deadline.
